Beckett’s restaurant
Beckett’s is home to the hospital’s restaurant. Situated on the first floor and well sign-posted around the hospital, you can find an array hot and cold food, 15 hours a day.
Opening times and schedule
From 7.30am, we serve a traditional breakfast with a choice of ten main course items. We also offer a selection of cereals, juices and toast for those looking for a lighter option.

Lunch is served between 11.30am and 2.15pm and includes a range of daily casseroles, vegetarian choices and lighter snacks such as paninis and toasted sandwiches.
These are complemented Monday to Friday with the carvery, which offers freshly cooked joints of meat at great value.
Lighter alternatives are available from our chilled self-service salad bar and baguette and jacket potato counter.
The restaurant offers hot food every evening until 7.30pm, as well as a range of sandwiches, rolls, confectionery and beverages available around the clock from the vending machines.
Barnsley Hospital’s catering facilities are provided by ISS Catering.
Our coffee shops
We have two coffee shops located in the outpatients entrance and a small tea bar in women’s services that are ran by our wonderful hospital volunteers.
Our coffee shops offer a range of teas, freshly ground coffees, fruit juices, soft drinks, crisps and snacks as well as toast and toasted teacakes. The coffee shops are located on the upper and lower floor of the outpatients entrance.
