The patient panel is a group of people from the local community who volunteer their time and skills and work in partnership with the Trust. Members are not representatives of other organisations, but are just local people who have been, and in several cases currently are, patients of the Trust. Members have shown a positive interest in its work and a willingness to bringing a patient’s point of view into improving what the Trust does.
The panel provide a patient’s perspective on Trust services and developments. The aim of the group is to build a strong partnership between the Trust, patients and the public and ensure that everyone’s ’voice’ is heard. The panel also can advise on Trust policies, as they develop and change.
