Our Annual General and Public Members meeting (AGPMM) will be taking place this year on Wednesday 13 September. It is held here at the hospital to showcase the brilliant work that we’ve been doing as a Trust over the past 12 months.

The AGM will be held in the Education Centre Lecture Theatres and is open to all members of the public, patients and staff. We encourage you to come along to find out about our challenges and achievements over the past year, our future plans and what this means for you and the people of Barnsley.

During the meeting we’ll be discussing many aspects of our annual report and there will be an opportunity for attendees to ask members of the Trust Board and Council of Governors any questions they may have. There’s no need to book a place at the AGPMM, the session will begin at 10am with the doors opening at 9:30am. The meeting will come to a close at 12pm. Please find attached the full invitation and agenda.

After the meeting we will be holding a Summer Fete 12pm- 4:30pm, on the grass in front of the women’s main entrance, to raise money for Barnsley Hospital Charity. Stalls will include Handmade Crafts, Bake Sales, Raffles, and Beauty Products.

Within the Summer Fete the Membership Team will be holding a stall with some of our Governors. You can influence and shape the future of the hospital by having a say in how things are run, voting to elect Governors or even standing for election to the Council of Governors. Come along and have a chat with our Membership Team and Governors! There will be snacks and refreshments on hand.

If you or anyone you know would like to have a stall at the Summer Fete please contact us on communications.barnsley@nhs.net or the Barnsley Hospital Charity on barnsleyhospitalcharity@nhs.net
