Barnsley Hospital is inviting members of the public to find out more about its services and patient care at its Annual General and Public Members’ Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 11 September.
The AGM will give members of the public a chance to hear about what the hospital has achieved in the past year, its future plans, and what this means for people in Barnsley. The meeting will take place at 1pm-2.45pm in the Lecture Theatres in the Education Centre at the hospital – accessible via the Pogmoor Road entrance.
Stephen Wragg, Chairman, said: “This year has been a challenging one for the Trust but has also been one marked by our determination to recover, adapt and consistently provide quality care in difficult circumstances.
“The AGM is an opportunity to review the Trust’s achievements over the last year and outline the main changes and challenges facing us this year. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions of the Board and the Governors during the meeting. As well as hearing about the hospital’s achievements, this is your chance to find out about our plans for the future, and what it means for you.”
Attendance is open to the public with no need to book a place. Copies of the Trust’s annual report will be available at the meeting.
