Are you or someone you know having a baby, or are you thinking about having a baby? Why not come along to a drop in session at Kings Oak Children’s Centre in Wombwell on Saturday 5th March from 10am – 1130am, where Barnsley Hospital midwives and other agencies will be on hand to offer advice and information about all aspects of pregnancy, childbirth and after the birth.

The midwives will be joined by health visitors, children’s centre staff, nursery nurses and many others all available to give you advice on healthy eating, stopping smoking, emotional health and wellbeing, infant feeding and many other areas, including home safety and the book start scheme.

“If you’re thinking about having a baby, we can advise you on how to get your body fit for conception, and on how to keep yourself healthy during pregnancy and afterwards.”
