    I like the new site.

However, the A to Z seems to be missing a few key areas.

It is beautiful and easy to navigate. Well done.

Structure and content of the site looks very good. It is a pity that accessibility has not been paid as much attention. Older people will be the largest section of the population that visit the hospital. The biggest fault is that the text is far too small – many older people will not be able read the content – and no option for increasing the size of the font used has been offered. Although the best sites start from the use of a large font and then offer a smaller one as often the link to change font size is too small in its self.

Thank you for your feedback Peter.

Most modern browsers should be able to re-size the text on the site though there “View” options.

Alternatively not we have a “Low Graphics” version available via a link in the header which strips the site of all images and is easier to read.

As you can imagine we have had similar feedback sent directly to us from a number of users. This has prompted us to look into developing built in text resize options in future site updates.

Good creative but not user friendly, couldn’t find what I wanted – the phone number for the urology department, there wasn’t even a reference for the urology department in the a-z section. You have to look hard to find the switchboard number; surely a link to a departmental phone number list is a basic requirement of a hospital website homepage?

Hello Jeff, you can find contact details for the hospital in the “Contact Us” section:

Regards the Urology department, I will chase this up for you.
