Do you want to make a difference and put your name forward as a governor of Barnsley Hospital?
We have another workshop for people interested in becoming an elected governor of Barnsley Hospital.
Come along to our Education Centre on Tuesday 25 October between 5.30pm and 7pm for a chat about the role. We can help you better understand what your responsibilities would be, and how much time you would need to commit.
This year we have vacancies in the following seats:
- 6 seats in the Barnsley public constituency (public & patient members living in the borough of Barnsley)
- 1 seat for the out of area public constituency
- 1 seat for the Clinical Support staff constituency
- 1 seat for the Nursing & Midwifery staff constituency
Nominations for election close on 31 October so this is your last chance to find out more about being a member of the Council of Governors.
Please contact Carol Dudley at the Governors’ Office on 01226 431818 to book your place. Carol will be able to arrange free parking for the session.
Read the documents listed on our governor elections page for more information about the process and what it means to be a governor.
