Laura is an Assistive Technology Specialist Occupational Therapist with the team. Laura’s role is to work with individuals using our service to assess and provide appropriate electronic assistive technology.

Laura gained a Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy in 2000 and a Masters degree in Advanced Occupational Therapy in 2015. Laura has worked in acute hospitals for 11 years in a variety of clinical specialties such as orthopaedics, rheumatology, burns, medicine and major trauma and in community rehabilitation for 3 ½ years before moving to the assistive technology team in 2016.  Laura says:

I am passionate about helping people achieve and maintain the best quality of life possible. I love working in Assistive Technology because it provides the opportunity to support people to have control over their environment and pursue leisure activities they would otherwise be unable to do without help.
