As office and contracts manager Paula is responsible for ensuring that our office and overall work runs smoothly.  In addition Paula is also responsible for overseeing the management of our contracts with external companies who provide and maintain some of the equipment within our region.

Paula started her career working in the private sector within industry and in 1999 I successfully transferred to a career within the public sector. Paula has worked within the Assistive Technology team since January 2016.  Paula says:

“I am a person who thrives on a challenge and am always seeking to continually improve the services of the department. I have been fortunate to join the department during the infancy stage of the expansion which has allowed me to contribute significantly towards delivering an efficient and effective service.

During my career I have gained a wealth of experience in Management, Business Change and Learning and Development. I have also achieved my CMI Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management and my Certificate in Education. My experience, skills and knowledge are valuable in my current role as I have been able to transfer my skills to develop and shape the business functions of the department.

I feel very proud to be part of the Assistive Technology Department and being part of the service is extremely rewarding particularly as I feel that I play a pivotal role in making a difference to peoples lives.”
