Vicky is an Assistive Technology Specialist Clinical Scientist with the team. Vicky’s role is to work with individuals using our service to assess and provide appropriate electronic assistive technology.

Vicky has been working in the Assistive Technology Team since 2012 having previously worked in other specialist assistive technology teams. Vicky began her training as a Clinical Scientist in assistive technology at Access to Communication and Technology (ACT) in Birmingham in 2004, and went on to work in the Electronic Assistive Technology Service in Dundee in 2007. Vicky says:

I have a particular interest in computer access – we all use our computers and smartphones for so many things, and I feel its important for a variety of access methods to be available.
