We use the feedback you provide to us to look at where we might need to improve our services. We also identify the things that you say we do well and we share this learning across all areas of the Trust through the Patient Experience, Engagement and Insight Group.
Friends and Family Test
The Friends and Family Test gives you, our service users, the opportunity to feedback on your experience and aims to highlight both good and poor experience.
You should be asked for your feedback whenever you attend Barnsley Hospital. If you visit the Emergency department you will be asked for feedback of your experience via text message.
You can participate in The Friends and Family Test and provide feedback via the link below: https://www.barnsleyhospital.nhs.uk/Information/FFT/index.html

National Surveys
The Care Quality Commission use surveys to find out what people think of the NHS Services they use. We are provided with the results of those surveys so that we can inform action plans where service improvements are required.

Local Surveys
The Trust will often develop local surveys where there are plans for a new service or a new service has just been implemented, to understand how you feel about the changes and how they might impact on you as a service user.
