 Stay as active as you can in hospital

Barnsley Hospital is encouraging patients to stay as active as they possibly can during a hospital stay - as part of a project centred around International Day for Older Persons (Wednesday October 1).

This week is Organ Donation Week (22-28 September). Barnsley Hospital is holding a memorial service for organ donors and their families in the hospital chapel on Thursday (25 September).

Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has been recognised for maintaining high standards of care in the 2024 NHS Adult Inpatient survey, published by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The survey captures experiences of patients who stayed overnight in hospital during November 2024.
