Barnsley Hospital’s children’s and young people’s services have scored positively in a national survey, with the Trust performing well in comparison with other organisations nationally - and in the top 5 regionally on some areas surveyed.

We are pleased to announce that the next meeting of the Trust’s Council of Governors Meeting, held in public will commence at 14.00 on Wednesday 14 May 2025.  The meeting will take place online via Teams. The agenda and supporting papers for the meeting can be viewed on the Trust’s website.  

Today marks the 80th anniversary of VE Day, providing an opportunity to honour and pay tribute to the Second World War generation from across the UK and Commonwealth.

Work is underway on the UK’s largest relocation of hospital outpatient services as part of Barnsley’s revolutionary Health on the High Street programme which will bring more accessible and convenient health and wellbeing services to thousands of residents.
