Autism Sleep Medication Service

SERVICE UPDATE: New service available from the 1st of October 2025

The Autism Sleep Medication Service is a trial service for children and young people under the age of 16.

This service is for children and young people with an existing diagnosis of autism who have sleep difficulties as a co-occurring condition.

This is not a Tier 1 sleep support service and a referral should only be made once appropriate sleep work has been undertaken. Details of where to access Tier 1 support can be found on The Support Hub | Sleep difficulties in children

Please ensure you are familiar with the referral criteria below before making a submission.
