IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR VISITORS
As we enter the delay stage of combatting Covid-19 (Coronavirus) we recommend you consider other ways of keeping in touch with friends or relatives in hospital.
Do not visit the hospital, or any other clinical setting, if you are:
- unwell, especially if you have a high temperature or a new, persistent cough
- vulnerable as a result of your medication, a chronic illness or are over 70 years of age.
With immediate effect, any visitors are limited to one per patient unless the patient is receiving end-of-life care. Visitors may only be immediate family members or carers. Children are not allowed.
Visiting is now restricted to a maximum of one hour per day at one of the following designated times:
Accident and Emergencies
A maximum of one person can accompany people attending our emergency department.
Only one single birth partner will be able to be present through labour.
Only parents or carers will be able to visit babies in our Neonatal Unit.
Only one parent or carer may visit at any one time.
We ask for the your help in respecting these rules which have been implemented to reduce the risk of infection to patients and NHS staff.
