Pathology services at Barnsley Hospital are part of the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Pathology partnership.
Visitors should enter through the main hospital entrance and turn right towards the lifts or stairs to the first floor. Turn right out of the lifts or left at the top of the stairs. Take the corridor on the right hand side (towards the restaurant). Turn right, following the corridor towards Pathology. At the end of the corridor, turn right again. Report to Specimen reception which is located on the left.
Phlebotomy services are provided at Level 1 in the orange zone of the hospital, opposite the restaurant.
The Mortuary is situated approximately 50 metres from the Pathology block, across the hospital perimeter road.
