The next meeting of the Council of Governors will take place on Wednesday 26 June 2024 at 2.30-4.30pm via video technology, a video of the recording will be made available and uploaded following the meeting.

A Barnsley Hospital project which has helped speed up discharge for children with minor head injuries has been shortlisted for an HSJ Patient Safety Award. 

We were thrilled to hold the Barnsley Hospital Heart Awards again this year on Friday 24 May at the Holiday Inn, Dodworth. 

We are excited to announce that Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has begun the rollout of a new digital system within its maternity services and the community.

Starting June 4th, our new system, BadgerNet, will replace the existing paper-based system with a comprehensive electronic record platform, already widely used across the NHS.
