Certain biochemical results yield more information when interpreted in conjunction with a limited number of other test results.

Chemical Pathology

The Chemical Pathology department analyses blood and other body fluids to determine the homeostasis of the numerous metabolic processes of the body.

Adding tests to existing requests

The Blood Sciences department receives in excess of 5000 samples per day. The storage of these samples must therefore be limited to a maximum of 4 days.

For critical results being sent internally within the Hospital, we provide a telephone service, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
